Come join North Cascade Beekeepers (NCB) Learning Apiary at Growing Veterans! The NCB Learning Apiary is here for members to learn how to take care of bees. This Saturday in the Apiary is a casual, loosely structured event intended to provide a learning experience in a relaxed setting. We perform hive inspections, discuss colony management strategies for the month, and implement them.
What should you bring? You will need to bring your own gear (veil/gloves). NOTE: There will be a limited amount of gear/veils/gloves available upon request.
Do I need to be a registered NCB member? Yes. To facilitate beekeepers helping beekeepers NCB is a no dues beekeeping group, however you do need to be a member to participate. If you forget to become a member, just reach out to Gail Buce on site and she will register you as a member.
