- This is a FREE service to the public is for honeybee swarms ONLY – NOT wasps, yellow jackets, bumblebees or other insects removal.
- Check out photos below of what a typical honeybee swarm looks like.
- Note the location of swarm: town/city, address, cross street, tree, landmarks to identify where the honeybee swarm is.
- Note height of location of swarm.
- Whose property the swarm is located on – is it yours, someone else’s or at a business?
- Are there any animals like dogs or livestock in close proximity to swarm?
- Taking a photo of the swarm and sending it to the swarm catcher is also very helpful!
- After NCB Swarm Response Lead collects the above information, then the information is provided to your nearest NCB Swarm Response Teammate :), who will contact you.

These are not honeybees or honeybee hives. Swarm Response Team does not remove these types of insects.

North Cascade Beekeeper (NCB) Swarm Response Team members, do not guarantee to catch the swarm. Some Swarm Response Team members can do cut outs of swarms and others do not. Our NCB Swarm Response Team members do not capture or destroy; wasps nests, bumble bee nests, mud wasps nests, yellow jacket nests or bald faced hornet nests. Our NCB Swarm Response Team members only catch honeybee swarms. Our NCB Swarm Response Team are based out of Whatcom County and are experienced beekeepers, sometimes the experienced beekeeper will bring a helper with them as part of the learning process of catching swarms.
